Position Summary:
As a Client Support Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all client-related technical issues via phone and email, ensuring prompt, courteous, and effective resolution of user concerns. Your primary goal will be to maintain optimal computer functionality, enabling users to work seamlessly. This role involves addressing escalated user requests within established Service Level Agreements, utilizing diagnostic tools, and providing hands-on assistance at the desktop level. You will be present on-site daily with a specific client, acting as their main IT resource.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison for customers regarding technical inquiries.
- Monitor infrastructure and customer devices to ensure operational efficiency.
- Communicate technical issues effectively to clients.
- Provide technical support for incoming requests related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Guide customers through troubleshooting processes and educate them on computer usage.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software as needed.
- Run diagnostic programs to identify and resolve issues.
- Achieve first-call resolution for customer inquiries.
- Identify tickets that fall outside normal scope and require further management action.
- Adhere to request handling and escalation protocols.
- Monitor incident trends to proactively address potential issues.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience troubleshooting systems, including:
- Desktop systems up to Windows 11
- Microsoft Exchange Server or Online Exchange
- Microsoft SQL
- Server systems up to Server 2019
- At least 2 years of experience in a help desk or service desk role.
- Strong proficiency in troubleshooting complex systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 2 or more years of experience in network design, architecture, and implementation.
- Extensive experience in application support.
- Familiarity with a variety of diagnostic utilities.
- Experience in an ITIL-driven environment and understanding of ITIL principles.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, focusing on rapport-building and effective questioning.
- Strong documentation capabilities.
- Ability to research a wide range of computing issues.
- Ability to present ideas in a clear, business-friendly manner.
- Proficient in managing and prioritizing inbound ticket requests.
- Utilizes a client-centric, problem-solving approach.
- Associate's degree or higher is preferred.
