Job Overview

Position Summary:

The SEM Integration Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the integration schedule of Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM) and executing system-level design verification and performance qualification on prototype systems.

This role may involve access to controlled technology as outlined in the Export Administration Regulations. Candidates must be legally authorized to access such technology prior to commencing work. Business needs may necessitate the selection of candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a daily subsystem integration plan aligned with the Master plan and high-level system integration flow.
  • Collaborate with customer support and project leads to initiate, organize, and coordinate engineering support from cross-functional teams to address SEM performance issues, ensuring timely follow-up and updates on issue resolution status.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Optimize system efficiency and utilization while maximizing quality.
  • Own and manage the implementation of the daily plan, reporting progress on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Oversee issue resolution during system integration, including setting due dates, assessing technical risks, and contributing to diagnosis and solutions.
  • Conduct functionality and performance testing of SEM systems.
  • Support prototype installations at customer sites.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • 3 years of experience in project management or system integration management.
  • Basic knowledge of SEM and physics.
  • Team player with strong communication skills.
  • Experience in troubleshooting complex systems is a plus.
