As a key member of our Integration Team, you will be responsible for leading projects from start to finish, ensuring that all systems are installed and functioning to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Integration Teams to deliver high-quality, fully functional AV and/or security systems to our clients.
- Master and implement the relevant elements of our company's best practices and standards.
- Give daily direction to your integration team and ensure that work is done according to the engineered specifications.
- Complete job-site paperwork, personal timekeeping, and other documentation conscientiously and consistently.
- Review all project documentation prior to arriving on the jobsite to properly prepare for the team.
- Create work plans for the project, including tasks and site logistics.
- Maintain expert-level proficiency and complete tasks related to technical installation requirements.
- Configure software applications and equipment to achieve desired functionality.
- Establish connections to key system components, load software, and establish a remote connection with engineers and programmers.
- Test and certify assigned system elements or entire rooms and systems.
- Train technicians and installers on your integration teams on the above.
- Recognize the need to ask for help when necessary and direct customer requests for changes or deviations from the plan.
- Document any approved changes to our plan.
- Attend project kick-off meetings and post-project debriefs.
- Be accountable for your team's safe completion of quality projects within budgeted hours.
- Generate daily work reports indicating tasks completed, tasks remaining, estimated time to completion, and any issues not resolved.
- Recognize and communicate to management if your team will be unable to safely complete a day's tasks or a project on time and within budgets.
- Work to the highest professional standards in terms of timeliness, neatness, attention to detail, customer interaction, and other professional matters that reflect on the reputation of LightWerks.
- Provide on-site support, including system troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Complete all work with the highest safety standard both for LightWerks' associates and customers.
- Coordinate with LightWerks' Installation Management and Project Management representatives to complete work to the customer's specifications and delight.
- Equivalent of five years of relevant hands-on installation experience.
- Ability to read, interpret, and mark-up architectural and technical drawings.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, a strong work ethic, positive outlook, and ability to focus and complete assigned tasks.
- AVIXA CTS certification, or ability to earn one within six months of employment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and IT/networking fundamentals.
- Earning and maintaining installation-related certifications on key brands and safety certifications.
- Reaching, grasping, carrying, pulling, and pushing activities.
- Unrestricted ability to climb minimum six-foot ladders.
- Unrestricted ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds, and 50 pounds above the head.
- Ability to see all colors in the visual spectrum.
- Possessing a driver's license valid in all states where LightWerks undertakes projects.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
