This role is pivotal in developing innovative systems that support various operations, including telecommunications and cyber defense.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your expertise in systems integration and testing to facilitate the deployment and maintenance of cutting-edge cloud-based telecommunications systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on real-world projects, providing critical insights and solutions.
- Design and implement system integration and testing protocols for both laboratory and field settings, ensuring compliance with established requirements.
- Conduct thorough technical research, produce detailed documentation, and lead demonstrations of concepts and solutions.
- Assist in the preparation of technical proposals and documentation, contributing to the development of project estimates and resource allocation.
- Expand your knowledge in telecommunications signal processing and cloud network architectures, enhancing your professional skill set.
- Be prepared for occasional travel to support system installations and client demonstrations.
Essential Qualifications:
- A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required, along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 6 years of experience.
- Proven experience in the integration, validation, and deployment of telecommunications systems, particularly those utilizing cloud technologies.
- Eligibility for a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is mandatory, with U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possession of an active TS/SCI security clearance or current SSBI.
- Experience in configuring cloud environments using automation tools and managing DevOps pipelines.
- Familiarity with telecommunications standards, particularly within mobile network architectures, is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in developing test scripts using programming languages such as Python, Perl, or Bash in a Linux environment.
