Position Overview: The Optical Systems Integration Specialist will play a crucial role in the development and integration of advanced optical subsystems essential for the generation and management of EUV light.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis, verification, and troubleshooting of intricate opto-mechanical systems.
- Oversee data collection, analysis, system integration, and validation processes.
- Manage troubleshooting and issue resolution, developing comprehensive test plans and analysis reports.
- Provide both remote and on-site support for customer escalations.
Collaboration: Act as a liaison for the Beam Transport System & Final Focusing Unit projects, ensuring effective communication with design teams based internationally.
Project Support: Participate in project meetings to maintain alignment with development activities, which may involve early morning calls to facilitate knowledge sharing.
Engineering Expertise: Utilize a robust background in opto-mechanical and controls engineering to formulate test plans, secure testing resources, and conduct validation tests for the Beam Transport System & Final Focusing Unit modules and control software.
Documentation and Compliance: Review and ensure compliance with requirements, specifications, software release documents, and test reports in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Quality Assurance: Work closely with development engineers, scientists, suppliers, and QA engineers to address quality concerns and drive documentation processes, including sequences, procedures, and bill of materials (BOM).
Training and Knowledge Transfer: Facilitate knowledge transfer regarding new modules and software releases, providing training to various personnel across departments.
Travel Requirements: The role may necessitate travel to both domestic and international sites for training, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, optics, or a related field.
- Experience in semiconductor equipment development is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Matlab and/or Python is preferred.
- Familiarity with electrical testing equipment is essential.
Work Environment: The position requires adherence to safety protocols and effective prioritization of tasks with minimal supervision. Flexibility in work hours, including potential weekend and night shifts, may be necessary.
