Position Overview:
We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to support our expanding operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable:
  • Accurately generate and distribute customer invoices in a timely manner.
  • Monitor aging accounts receivable and engage with customers to ensure prompt payments.
  • Process various forms of customer payments, including checks and electronic transfers.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and address any discrepancies or billing concerns swiftly.
  • Maintain precise records of customer transactions and account balances within the accounting system.
  • Assist in conducting credit checks and evaluating credit limits for customers.
  • Prepare and review accounts receivable reports for management analysis.

Purchasing:
  • Aid in the purchasing process by managing customer orders and tracking deliveries.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Verify the accuracy of purchase orders and invoices, resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Maintain thorough purchasing records in line with company policies.
  • Support the sales team in identifying new suppliers and managing vendor relationships.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable, purchasing, or a finance-related role, ideally within the software or technology sector.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and calculations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
