Job Overview

We are a pediatric healthcare facility in search of a dedicated Medical Assistant to contribute to our practice. This role involves a combination of administrative and clinical responsibilities. While we are open to training candidates, a minimum of one year of experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional patient care qualities—being friendly, personable, professional, and dependable is essential. Key responsibilities will encompass both Medical Assistant and front office duties, including but not limited to gathering patient information, updating health records, managing multi-line phone systems, scheduling appointments, recording patient vitals, administering immunizations, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all administrative tasks efficiently
  • Execute routine clinical procedures
  • Record and monitor patient vitals
  • Administer immunizations as required
  • Document patient medical histories and insurance details
  • Oversee office telephone operations, including answering and returning calls
  • Schedule patient appointments and maintain communication for confirmations
  • Perform data entry to maintain accurate patient records
  • Coordinate daily office activities, greeting patients, and managing check-ins and check-outs

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in healthcare administration or related fields is preferred
