We are currently seeking a dedicated Radiological Protection Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing the day-to-day programmatic aspects of the Radiological Protection Plan in compliance with all relevant procedures and regulations. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct air sampling, radiation surveys, and radioactive contamination control
  • Operate count room equipment and gamma spectroscopy systems
  • Generate and review radiological data records
  • Support industrial hygiene and safety tasks
  • Participate in the formulation of action plans
  • Perform technical operations in compliance with protocols
  • Provide guidance and monitor technical support
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in applied health physics
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • DOE security clearance preferred
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications
