Position Title: Clinical Pharmacy Operations Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

The Clinical Pharmacy Operations Manager will undertake the following key responsibilities:

  • Identify, implement, and oversee new clinical services or initiatives as required.
  • Accurately anticipate future trends and their implications.
  • Utilize logical reasoning and methodologies to explore beyond the obvious, recommending effective solutions to complex challenges; maintain a comprehensive perspective to align short-term recommendations with long-term objectives.
  • Develop innovative business strategies and translate them into actionable company initiatives and projects.
  • Collaborate effectively with members of the Medical Executive Committee and Board of Trustees or other oversight bodies.
  • Design, implement, and manage all pharmacy clinical programs, including but not limited to drug consultations, Nutrition Support, Pharmacokinetics, Anticoagulant monitoring, Pain Management, IV to PO conversions, Renal Dosing, and other relevant programs based on patient demographics and literature guidelines.
  • Ensure accountability for timely completion of compliance activities.
  • Recognize the significance of compliance and strive to operate within established standards.
  • Inspire, lead, and facilitate organizational change.
  • Exemplify adaptability and act as a change agent by championing new initiatives and effectively addressing concerns or resistance from others.
  • Manage ambiguity by evaluating the impact, risks, and alternatives of new ideas and approaches.
  • Demonstrate persistence and follow-through to ensure sustainability of initiatives.
  • Foster a sense of energy and optimism throughout the facility for future endeavors.

Qualifications:

Position Title: Clinical Pharmacy Operations Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

Candidates for the Clinical Pharmacy Operations Manager position must possess the following minimum qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience as an Acute Care Pharmacist. Leadership experience is not required. Candidates must have experience exclusively in an Acute Care Hospital setting; retail experience is not applicable. However, candidates with a PGY 2 in Administration may be considered without recent acute care experience, provided it was within the last 5 years.
  • Must hold a valid Pharmacist license in the state of Florida.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 based on years of experience.
