Role Summary:
The Pharmacy Clinical Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in the development, execution, and oversight of comprehensive pharmacy clinical initiatives, including but not limited to medication consultations, nutritional support, pharmacokinetic assessments, anticoagulation management, pain control strategies, IV to oral medication conversions, renal dosing protocols, and other relevant programs tailored to the patient demographic and established clinical guidelines. This role demands accountability for timely completion of compliance-related tasks and a thorough understanding of compliance standards, ensuring all actions align with these expectations.

Required Qualifications:
  • Must possess a BS or PharmD Degree from an accredited pharmacy institution.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a pharmacist in an acute care hospital setting is essential (candidates with solely retail pharmacy experience will not be considered).
  • A valid Pharmacist License specific to the state of Florida is mandatory.
  • A consultant license (state-specific) should be obtained within six months of employment.
  • We seek a leader who is not only enthusiastic and empathetic towards staff but also serves as a positive influence within the team.
  • This department has experienced significant leadership changes, necessitating a strong leader to foster stability and improvement.
  • While prior leadership experience is preferred, we are open to considering candidates without it.
