Job Summary:

The Restorative Justice Coordinator will play a key role in the leadership team of the Office of Education Options, driving systems change and supporting the implementation of innovative approaches to school discipline. This position requires a strong understanding of restorative practices and a passion for creating positive change in educational settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for restorative justice in schools
  • Collaborate with school leaders and educators to design and deliver training programs
  • Support the development of policies and procedures that promote restorative practices
  • Build relationships with community organizations and stakeholders to leverage resources and expertise
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of restorative justice initiatives

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Education, Social Work, or a related field
  • Experience in restorative justice, education, or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
