Key Responsibilities:

  • Student Support: Provide academic support to students, including office hours, advising, and mentoring.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in the field of Criminal Justice.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree: Earned in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a closely related field.
  • Teaching Experience: At least four years of professional experience in corrections, law enforcement, sociology of law, criminology theory, and/or research methods.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingualism: Bilingual Spanish speakers are strongly preferred.
  • Technology Proficiency: Experience with digital tools for teaching and online or blended/hybrid formats.
