Schedule: Onsite 1st Shift

Compensation: $80 – $100K/yr

This role is essential in ensuring the integrity of all manufacturing operations, including machinery, auxiliary equipment, and material handling systems, to consistently meet quality, output, and cost standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Optimize injection molding processes for existing high cavitation molds and new tooling, utilizing advanced technologies and engineering resins.

2. Enhance production equipment utilization by identifying operational deficiencies and improving troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

3. Document and refine manufacturing processes to boost production yield through thorough analysis and establishment of production standards.

4. Maintain a comprehensive standards library for reference and document any production disruptions, collaborating with Supervisors across shifts.

5. Develop systems for process control and improvement across all production facets.

6. Innovate manufacturing methods and procedures, focusing on logistics, tooling readiness, and quality enhancement.

7. Lead projects to address production deficiencies identified through data analysis.

8. Create and manage standard process sheets detailing equipment, steps, and specifications for effective setups and reporting.

9. Investigate and resolve molding non-conformances, implementing corrective actions for long-term solutions.

10. Design training programs and conduct sessions for manufacturing and tooling staff on departmental procedures.

11. Assist in troubleshooting tooling or process issues as needed, and may contribute to mold design.

12. Coordinate the execution of engineering prototypes and sample runs, ensuring resource availability to minimize downtime.

13. Review product designs for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness, providing valuable input for new designs.

14. Identify and justify equipment or facility upgrades to enhance quality and efficiency.

15. Ensure quality and production targets are met by managing molding machine capacity and minimizing scrap.

16. Propose improvements for production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.

17. Continuously seek enhancements in manufacturing methods, layouts, and techniques, submitting recommendations for management approval.

18. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations from OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory bodies.

19. Participate in Tooling Design Review meetings as the Operations Representative.

20. Oversee the startup and initial processing of new molds and products to establish standards.

21. Compile product and process reports by analyzing and summarizing data and trends.

22. Maintain organized documentation of methods and procedures.

23. Strive for continuous improvement in quality and cost-effectiveness within the designated area.
