Sterile Processing Technician CWR
Job Summary:
NavitsPartners is seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sterile processing and distribution, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and high standards in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect used and contaminated equipment, instruments, and supplies for sorting and decontamination.
• Manually clean supplies, remove waste matter, and operate decontamination equipment.
• Prepare and pack decontaminated supplies for sterilization.
• Monitor and operate sterilization equipment.
• Examine supplies to ensure they are properly cleaned and sanitized.
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent, along with certification in sterile processing and distribution.
• At least one year of Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) experience in acute care is required.
• Must pass a background check and provide proof of up-to-date immunizations.
• Strong attention to detail, vigilance, and meticulous care on the job.
• Passion for safety and high standards in healthcare.
• Good judgment and critical-thinking skills.
Preferred:
Previous travel contract experience is a plus.
Certification:
CRCST or CBSPD required.
