Job Description

Role Summary

The Demand Generation Manager at Shelf will play a critical role in building and owning our demand generation funnel. This is a generalist role that will require setting up marketing automation, managing virtual and in-person events, and planning creative campaigns to drive demand. If you have a B2B lead generation marketing background for SaaS products and are highly analytical and measurement-driven, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the overall lead generation strategy
  • Run organic and paid campaigns designed to drive awareness and demand
  • Collaborate with the team on how to best reuse and distribute content
  • Help set up an initial reporting structure for funnel KPIs such as website visits, leads, and opportunities / free signups
  • Run virtual and in-person events
  • Monitor lead flow and conversion rates against targets and marketing investment
  • Rigorously measure the lead & customer acquisition cost for each marketing channel and adjust spending to maximize ROI
  • Analyze industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' marketing tactics to identify new opportunities
  • Create automated programs to nurture web traffic to become sales-ready leads
  • Measure campaign performance using analytics and feedback from the sales team
  • Maintain alignment with the sales team through timely and actionable communication and feedback sessions
  • Manage and maintain the teams' pipeline of interested prospects

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years sales or related market/business experience
  • Expertise with a wide variety of lead generation tactics, including SEO, email marketing, content marketing, PPC, webinars, and social media
  • Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven, results-oriented approach
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with the B2B sales process
