We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Cardiology team at UNC Health Care. As a key member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide high-quality, cost-effective care to patients within your scope of practice in collaboration with a supervising physician.
Responsibilities- Provide inpatient admission, discharge, and daily notes, as well as case management rounds.
- See Chest Pain patients in the Hillsborough clinic daily, including those undergoing procedures at the Cath/EP lab.
- Finish up inpatient work during late afternoons and check out to the Medicine Attending.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing and ordering evidence-based pharmacological agents.
- Conduct preventive health screening and maintain clear, comprehensive records of patient care.
- Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider program.
- Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider in the state of North Carolina, with board certification if required by the Department.
- At least 2 years of experience preferred, but not required.
