Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload products from trucks, trailers, and other equipment using various machinery such as stand-up forklifts and reach trucks.
  • Product Preparation: Prepare products for shipping by banding, stretch wrapping, and blocking and bracing as needed.
  • Verification and Documentation: Verify shipments for accuracy and document any discrepancies.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate RF scanners and other equipment as needed to perform daily tasks.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with warehouse and office personnel to meet productivity goals and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a logistics environment, with a focus on forklift operation and warehouse management.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as needed.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, push, pull, stretch, stoop, squat, and grab; walk and sit for extended periods.
  • Communication: Detail-oriented and capable of performing basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
