Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at ISI Professional Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing cradle-to-grave project management and administration of design and construction projects at the White House President's Park.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the work of various design and construction contractors performing work on multiple projects.
  • Actively manage, monitor, guide, and inspect projects for progress, quality, budget, and costs, and conformance with contract documents and project requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with the Project Manager and other project stakeholders, as appropriate.
  • Resolve problems, issues, and delays as they arise.
  • Assist the client Project Manager in creating and providing formal written notification and/or direction to contractors and project stakeholders.
  • Draft all manner of project/contract documents and correspondence.
  • Investigate and analyze issues that involve potential impacts to project schedules, budgets, and/or costs.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders.
  • Make recommendations to the client Project Manager and/or the Contracting Officer.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction, or related field from an ABET-accredited institution of higher learning.
  • At least 8 years of relevant construction and engineering work experience.
  • Registered Professional Engineer in one of the 50 states or U.S. territories, preferably the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PE License (any state), CCM, PMP, LEED AP, AIA.
  • White House and/or President's Park experience.

Monday through Friday, Normal business hours 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Onsite.
