Position Summary:
Norco, Inc. is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Respiratory Therapist/Clinician. This position is essential for evaluating, ordering, and setting up all Category II and III equipment, including rehabilitation services as directed. The Respiratory Therapist/Clinician will serve as a vital link between Norco and various referral sources, addressing inquiries and resolving issues for patients and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with patients, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and referral sources to ensure optimal equipment solutions for clients.
- Conduct evaluations in diverse settings such as homes, clinics, nursing facilities, and hospitals.
- Provide sales support and product demonstrations to the healthcare community.
- Oversee the Quality Improvement Program.
- Troubleshoot equipment related to oxygen and respiratory services during business hours and as needed after hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Promote Norco services to referral sources.
- Coordinate respiratory-related discharges with customer service staff.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned or necessary.
Qualifications:
- CRTT, RRT, RN, LPN, or eligibility for any of the preceding credentials.
- State licensure as required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and over 100 lbs. occasionally to a height of 36 inches.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals.
- Exceptional public relations and customer service abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in reading written materials and utilizing a PC.
- Quick learner of new equipment and technologies.
- Previous experience in home care is preferred.
