Job Summary

The Accreditation Admin Specialist plays a crucial role in the Allied Health and Sciences Department, coordinating accreditation processes, directing clinical affiliation agreements, and organizing application processes. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, with a focus on ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate accreditation status, preparing and processing related requests and documents
  • Direct clinical agreements, preparing and processing agreements
  • Organize application processes, reviewing student applicants and verifying credentials
  • Maintain academic records, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Attend training sessions, staying up-to-date on accreditation standards
  • Coordinate course schedule building, working with program directors to develop scheduling documents
  • Ensure data input into Banner, maintaining accurate records
  • Advise students on course pathways, providing guidance on educational goals
  • Execute recruitment measures, ensuring program leadership participation
  • Provide high-touch experience for students, encouraging educational pursuits
  • Serve as program subject-matter expert, point of contact for new programs and curriculum implementation
  • Provide program information to students, faculty, staff, and industry partners
  • Advise and register students on program planning, course selection, and transferability
  • Serve as liaison for Program Directors and Lead Faculty, handling questions and issues
  • Perform administrative tasks, including inventory management, budgeting, and requisitioning
Requirements
  • Three years of experience in an office environment, with additional courses in office administration and computer software
  • Advanced skill in Windows, MS Office Professional, and Excel
  • Experience organizing and maintaining records and files
  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills
  • Detail-oriented, with strong writing, proofing, and editing skills
  • Strong math skills, with ability to manage self and tasks
  • Skilled in operating business machines, such as scanners and copiers
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certificate or Associate Degree in Allied Health or related field
  • Experience working at a higher education institution
  • Experience using college computer systems, such as Banner and Argos
  • Microsoft Office Certification in Word or Excel
  • Supervisory work experience
  • Higher education work experience
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is $32,000.00, with benefits to be determined.
