Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Delegate tasks to unlicensed personnel and ensure that patient safety is maintained at all times.
  • Implement measures to promote a safe environment for patients and others, and accurately administer medications and treatments.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and unit activities.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans, and make decisions regarding patient care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN license in the State of Texas.
  • BLS certification.
  • Unit-specific competencies obtained within six months of hire.
