Key Responsibilities
  • Total Rewards:
    • Coordinate benefit plan designs with senior HR leadership and brokers.
    • Administer all benefits and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k).
    • Serve as liaison with outside benefits administrators, trustees, or insurance companies.
    • Review compensation and make recommendations for internal equity and market competitiveness.
    • Manage employee leaves-of-absence requests and provide expertise and support to HR teams in other locations.
  • Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS):
    • Serve as subject matter expert and main point of contact for HRIS technical support.
    • Oversee and maintain optimal functioning of the Company's HRIS, including database management, maintenance, upgrades, permissions, personalization, and data security.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify needed system improvements and recommend solutions.
    • Create and ensure accurate information on dashboards and reports.
    • Respond to information requests and automate solutions where possible.
  • Compliance:
    • Responsible for drafting policy documents, working with senior HR leadership and legal counsel.
    • Responsible for compliance reporting, including EEO1, Vets 4212, OSHA, etc.
    • Ensure consistency and accuracy of employee notifications and postings.
  • Other Areas of Responsibility:
    • Assist with employee relations, investigations, onboarding, and offboarding.
    • Support various HR responsibilities, including LMS, recruitment, Affirmative Action, etc.
    • Maintain current and accurate information on the Human Resources Intranet page.
    • Participate in the Employee Committee, Wellness Committee, Safety Committee, or the United Way Campaign as necessary.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in human resources or business or equivalent.
    • 3-5 years of experience, including benefits, compensation, and HRIS experience.
    • HR certification preferred.
    • Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
