About the Opportunity

The Associate Director of Employer Engagement develops and implements strategic initiatives to enhance partnerships with university constituents, focusing on recruiting and non-recruiting functions. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to develop relationships with employers, students, and university colleagues.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Develops and maintains employer relationships to expand job development and recruiting activities.
  • Collaborates to plan and coordinate training, conferences, and outreach programming for potential employers.
  • Performs analysis to set employer outreach targets and track program outcomes.
  • Conceptualizes, designs, and implements comprehensive career education programs and resources for students.
  • Establishes and builds partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ensures inclusive and accessible programming, employment opportunities, and resources.
  • Provides accurate and timely data reporting and analysis for strategic planning.
  • Identifies areas for efficiency or improvement within existing policies and procedures.
  • Serves on department, division, or university committees and represents the department internally and externally.
  • Develops targeted departmental materials to support messaging.
  • Participates in professional development and training activities focused on advising, international, DEI, and employer recruitment.
  • Maintains broad current knowledge of career, DEI, industry, employer, and economic trends.
  • Leads team activities, selects, onboards, and develops employees to create an inspiring work environment.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Comprehensive knowledge of career development theories and practices.
  • Knowledge of DEI principles and experience working with diverse cultures and backgrounds.
  • Excellent people skills and demonstrated presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Strong data analysis and technical skills, with facility in MS Office applications.
