Key Responsibilities

The role encompasses a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • A balanced mix of fieldwork and office responsibilities.
  • Conducting on-site data collection, including flora and fauna assessments, groundwater and soil sampling, and overseeing contractors.
  • Managing project coordination, data analysis, and report preparation in the office.
Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in environmental science, engineering, natural sciences, hydrology, geology, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in environmental program management, including biological assessments and habitat characterization.
  • Extensive experience in environmental analysis, management, and research.
  • Familiarity with HUD, CDBG, and NEPA regulations.
  • 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in project management frameworks.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
