Position Overview:

Are you looking for a role where your project management and analytical skills can shine in developing initiatives from inception to execution? Managing a program involves a considerable allocation of finite resources. Given this complexity, maintaining a productive trajectory is essential. We are seeking a project management expert who can facilitate success through thorough analysis and proficient communication.

In this role, you will deliver program and project management insights while supporting a U.S. Navy (USN) client in the acquisition and sustainment management of an Acquisition Category (ACAT) program. Collaborating with program leadership, you will oversee cost, schedule, and performance metrics to enhance Navy Information Technology (IT) systems. Utilizing tools such as Microsoft Excel for budget analysis, Microsoft Project for schedule management, Microsoft Word for creating contractual and technical documents, and Microsoft PowerPoint for presentations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the program meets its objectives and adheres to quality standards.

Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in DoD Program Management or Acquisition Management.
  • Experience managing multiple interrelated projects within a DoD or Navy Program Management Office throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Strong capability to manage various projects, encompassing planning, organization, decision-making, problem-solving, work delegation, and employee development.
  • Eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with metrics, business process reengineering, business case analysis, electronic workflow, cost estimation, and strategic planning.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Visio.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Possession of a Secret clearance.
  • PMP Certification is advantageous.
  • SAFe Agile Scrum Master Certification is a plus.

The compensation for this position is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, competencies, experience, and organizational requirements. The projected salary range for this role is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 annually.

Work Environment:

If this position is designated as remote or hybrid, you will occasionally work from a Booz Allen or client site facility. If it is listed as onsite, you will engage with colleagues and clients in person as required.
