We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at True North Consulting. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing large commercial construction projects in the educational market.
Key Responsibilities- Manage construction projects from pre-construction to post-construction, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure projects meet client requirements and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project team members to ensure project goals are met.
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably in the educational construction field.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects, including experience with the Division of the State Architect (DSA) and commercial builders.
- Strong knowledge of construction laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
