Electromechanical Assembly Specialist

Position Overview
The role of the Electromechanical Assembly Specialist involves the assembly, electrical testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance of electromechanical components and systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that all assemblies adhere to established quality standards while maintaining accurate quality documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and comprehend engineering schematics, bills of materials, and operational guidelines.
- Employ various hand tools, measuring instruments (such as micrometers and calipers), and testing equipment (including HiPot testers and multimeters) to execute tasks effectively.
- Calculate specifications and conduct tests on finished products in accordance with established protocols.
- Assemble products following detailed work instructions and operational guidelines.
- Verify shipping quantities and items as per work orders, ensuring proper packaging of finished products.
- Inspect incoming parts based on geometrical, dimensional, tolerance, and visual criteria to confirm compliance with specifications.
- Support ISO certification processes, maintain documentation, and participate in annual ISO training.
- Accurately receive materials from vendors and manage inventory effectively.
- Document and manage all non-conforming materials.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in assembly, quality control, or inventory management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and technical documents.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills.
- Proficient in problem-solving and capable of handling various concrete variables in non-standardized situations.
- Basic computer proficiency with a keen attention to detail; familiarity with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems is essential.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and meet customer requirements.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
