Job DescriptionAt TS Grasp Inc. d.b.a. Crackin Kitchen, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily restaurant operations, including employee selection, development, and performance management. They will also be responsible for inventory management, ordering, and optimizing profits while ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:
  • Support senior management in overseeing restaurant operations, making decisions, and executing actions.
  • Compile information for reports to the administrative office.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with travel agencies, hotel concierge, and local vendors.
  • Arrange meetings with local vendors and corporate executives, preparing agendas.
  • Track and support the renewal process for company licenses and permits.
  • Process internet reservations and respond to inquiries via the website and phone.
  • Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of financial and personnel/administrative duties.
  • Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
  • Maintain a professional restaurant image, including cleanliness, uniforms, and appearance standards.
  • Estimate food and beverage costs, working with the Management Team and Corporate Office staff.
  • Assist in monitoring portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste.
  • Assist in estimating food needs, placing orders with distributors, and scheduling delivery of fresh food and supplies.
  • Become ServSafe certified, as soon as possible.
  • Ensure positive guest service by responding to complaints and taking appropriate actions.
  • Ensure proper security procedures are in place to protect employees, guests, and company assets.
  • Ensure a safe working and guest dining environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents.
  • Complete incident and accident reports promptly.
  • Manage shifts, including daily decision making, scheduling, and planning.
  • Investigate, resolve, and document complaints concerning food quality and service.
  • Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues.
  • Screen and arrange interviews for hourly staff positions.
  • Supervise, develop, and when necessary, terminate hourly employees.
  • Conduct orientation, explain company policies, and oversee the training of new employees.
  • Develop employees by providing ongoing feedback, establishing performance expectations, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date plan of restaurant staffing needs.
  • Support establishing a strong and positive presence in the local and business community by participating in events and charitable organizations.
Work Scope and Hours:

Restaurant business hours are 12:00 noon – 10:00 p.m. daily, with work shifts running from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for opening and lunch service, and 4:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. for dinner service and closing.
