About the Role
This is a leadership position that involves supervising clinical staff and working closely with physicians to deliver high-quality patient care. As a Senior Neurology Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all patients receive compassionate and personalized care in an environment that is sensitive to their physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and train clinical staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement effective care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Audit charts and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work with office managers to optimize operational efficiency and improve patient flow.
- Maintain current knowledge and licensure in nursing to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in neurology and healthcare.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
- A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Ohio.
- At least one year of experience in a medical office or similar setting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
