The Client Services role at Citigroup Inc. is a developing professional position that involves identifying and applying policy knowledge to monitor and assess processes and data. The successful candidate will integrate established disciplinary knowledge within their specialty area with a basic understanding of related industry practices. This includes a good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Furthermore, they will develop working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Key responsibilities include exchanging information in a concise and logical way, being sensitive to audience diversity, and having a limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of tasks/services provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • High proficiency in Capital Markets, Bloomberg, Reuters, and Microsoft Office
  • Monitor money managers' performance and update monthly reports
  • Provide high-level support to Securities Specialists, including client market updates, new account openings, documentation approvals, wire transfers, journals, stock transfers, account maintenance, capital call notices, fixed income maturities, settled free cash, reorganization notices, performance reporting, and Executive Financial Services requests
  • Build and maintain relationships with the client base, be familiar with target clients for various investment products and offerings
  • Manage high call volumes, screen, and prioritize phone calls, take initiative with client inquiries

Liaising with Private Banking Universe, including Private Bankers, RO's, Investment Counselors, Securities Specialists, and/or Wealth Team members, such as Advisors, Relationship Managers, and Investment Counselors, is also essential. When making business decisions, the successful candidate must appropriately assess risk, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years relevant experience
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines, and time management skills
  • Strong Communication Skills

Education: Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
