Job Overview

Action for Boston Community Development is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to serve as an Advocate for Social Change. This role will play a critical part in addressing the root causes of poverty and promoting social change in our community.

About the Role:

  • Serve as a liaison between clients and community resources.
  • Provide guidance and support to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address client needs and improve outcomes.
  • Build partnerships with local organizations to expand service delivery.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance program effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; up to one year of experience in case management, job development, or general office support preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
