Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Information Technology (IT) Operations Analyst to contribute to our dynamic support for the Space Development Agency (SDA). Recognized as a transformative force in space acquisition within the Department of Defense, SDA provides space-based capabilities to support terrestrial missions through the development, deployment, and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. SDA leverages a distinctive business model that emphasizes speed and cost-efficiency by utilizing commercial development to establish a proliferated architecture and enhance resilience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer service, facilitating communication between SDA personnel and local network service providers regarding inquiries, support tickets, and actions.
  • Assist in the planning, procurement, installation, maintenance, and operation of classified information management systems, infrastructure, hardware, and software.
  • Oversee the management of all aspects of classified systems to ensure efficient and responsive agency operations, including information networks and secure communication equipment.
  • Coordinate with the SDA property manager to collect, track, and report on the accountability of all classified IT equipment and software.
  • Gather IT requirements and manage IT resources for incoming SDA personnel as necessary.
  • Develop both short- and long-term strategies for the allocation and operation of communication and IT equipment to support the agency's objectives.
  • Collaborate with local service providers to address SDA's IT needs, including provisioning new accounts and deploying equipment.
  • Manage and submit service requests for classified IT systems, resolve technology and access issues, onboard new employees, and maintain a functional classified infrastructure.
  • Work closely with other local staff to ensure comprehensive and coordinated support is provided.
  • Assist with additional administrative tasks as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical certifications required.
  • Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance required.
  • Over 8 years of directly related experience.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CompTIA Security+ certification is advantageous.
