About the Role

As a Surgical Laser Technician at Agiliti Health, Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain a professional relationship with physicians, hospital staff, and other personnel, both in appearance and behavior. You will be responsible for testing, cleaning, and sterilizing equipment in the operating room prior to procedures, as well as presenting in the operating room during procedures, with the level of involvement subject to physician demands. Additionally, you will remove, clean, disinfect, and sterilize all surgical equipment after procedures, ensuring operational excellence of all vehicles and equipment by communicating defects or necessary maintenance to key stakeholders in a timely manner. You will also transport equipment to ensure it is in the right place at the right time for necessary procedures.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent, with prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience preferred. You must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license, with a safe driving record based on Agiliti policies. You will also need to be able to lift up to eighty pounds and push or pull up to one hundred pounds, as well as stand and/or sit for long periods of time, and be able to bend and reach repeatedly. You will be required to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for long periods of time.
