Compensation Structure

The annual salary for this position ranges from $132,000 to $204,636, depending on the level of expertise and experience.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Salesforce Administrator/Developer to become a vital member of the OCIO LivIT Workforce Enablement Team. In this role, you will oversee the Salesforce environment utilized by the laboratory, contributing to its implementation, development, maintenance, and governance. Your efforts will empower the workforce to effectively utilize Salesforce technologies.

This position supports a hybrid work model, allowing for a combination of in-person and remote work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage the product vision and strategy for citizen development initiatives within Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring effective solutions are developed.
  • Guide and mentor citizen developers in creating their solutions within Salesforce, providing necessary training and support.
  • Utilize Salesforce's low-code/no-code tools, including Flow Builder, Process Builder, and Lightning App Builder, to configure applications.
  • Implement and manage integrations with other systems within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the program.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities for Advanced Level

  • Ensure compliance of citizen-developed applications with organizational policies and security standards.
  • Oversee the product development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and quality adherence.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed on best practices in citizen development and Salesforce innovations.

Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to secure a Department of Energy Q-level security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience as a Salesforce developer or administrator, focusing on low-code/no-code development.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce developer tools, including Flow Builder, Process Builder, and Lightning App Builder.
  • Strong understanding of product management principles and governance.
  • Experience in designing and implementing IT processes and facilitating user adoption.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Developer.
  • Familiarity with other CRM platforms.
  • Experience in designing and implementing citizen developer programs.

Additional Information

This position requires a Q-level security clearance and may involve a pre-employment drug test. Candidates must comply with regulations regarding mobile device usage in restricted areas.
