Position Summary

We are seeking a Salesforce Administrator/Developer to join the OCIO LivIT Workforce Enablement Team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and enhancing the Salesforce environment utilized by the laboratory. Your contributions will encompass implementation, development, maintenance, and user support, ensuring effective governance of the LLNL Salesforce ecosystem.

This position supports a hybrid work model, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and oversee the product vision and strategy for citizen development initiatives within Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, translating them into actionable solutions.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to citizen developers, facilitating their solution development within Salesforce.
  • Utilize Salesforce's low-code/no-code tools, including Flow Builder, Process Builder, and Lightning App Builder, to create and configure applications.
  • Manage integrations with other systems within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion within the program.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities for Advanced Level

  • Ensure compliance of citizen-developed applications with organizational policies and security standards.
  • Oversee the product development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and quality adherence.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed on best practices in citizen development and Salesforce innovations.

Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship and ability to secure a DOE Q-level security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience as a Salesforce developer or administrator, particularly in low-code/no-code environments.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce developer tools, including Flow Builder, Process Builder, and Lightning App Builder.
  • Strong understanding of product management principles and governance activities.
  • Experience in designing and implementing IT processes and facilitating user adoption.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Development.
  • Familiarity with other CRM platforms.
  • Experience in establishing a citizen developer program and support model.
