Compensation Information
The annual salary for this position ranges from $132,000 to $204,636, depending on the level of expertise and experience.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Salesforce Administrator/Developer to become a vital member of the OCIO LivIT Workforce Enablement Team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Salesforce ecosystem utilized by the laboratory. Your contributions will encompass implementation, development, maintenance, and user support within the LLNL Salesforce environment, playing a pivotal role in empowering the workforce to utilize Salesforce technologies effectively.
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for a combination of in-person and remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and oversee the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for citizen development initiatives within Salesforce.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring effective translation into solutions.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to citizen developers, facilitating their development efforts within Salesforce.
- Utilize Salesforce's low-code/no-code tools, including Flow Builder, Process Builder, and Lightning App Builder, to design and configure applications.
- Manage integrations with other systems and applications within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Support initiatives aimed at promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the program.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities for Advanced Level
- Ensure compliance of all citizen-developed applications with organizational policies and security standards.
- Oversee the product development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct market research to stay informed on best practices in citizen development and Salesforce innovations.
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to secure and maintain a U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience as a Salesforce developer or administrator, particularly in low-code/no-code development.
- Proficiency with Salesforce's developer tools, including Flow Builder, Process Builder, and Lightning App Builder.
- Strong understanding of product management principles and governance activities.
- Experience in designing and implementing IT-based processes and facilitating user adoption.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for complex challenges.
- Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills for collaboration within a diverse development team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Developer.
- Familiarity with other CRM platforms and technologies.
- Experience in designing and implementing a citizen developer program and support model.
Position Information
This is a Career Indefinite position, open to both internal and external candidates.
Security Clearance Requirements
This position necessitates a Department of Energy (DOE) Q-level clearance. Selected candidates will undergo a Federal background investigation to determine eligibility for access to classified information.
