Compensation Details

The salary range for this position is as follows:

  • $132,000 - $170,556.00 Annually for the SES.2 level
  • $159,000 - $204,636.00 Annually for the SES.3 level

Position Overview

We are seeking a Salesforce Administrator/Developer to become an integral part of the OCIO LivIT Workforce Enablement Team. In this role, you will support the Salesforce ecosystem utilized by the laboratory, contributing to various aspects such as implementation, development, maintenance, and user support.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for a blend of in-person and remote work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and oversee the product vision and strategy for citizen development initiatives within Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring effective solutions are developed.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to citizen developers, offering training and support as necessary.
  • Utilize Salesforce's low-code/no-code tools, including Flow Builder and Lightning App Builder, to create and configure applications.
  • Manage integrations with other systems within the Salesforce environment.
  • Support initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the program.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities for SES.3 Level

  • Ensure compliance of citizen-developed applications with organizational policies and security standards.
  • Oversee the product development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and quality adherence.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed on best practices in citizen development and Salesforce innovations.

Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience as a Salesforce developer or administrator, particularly in low-code/no-code development.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce's development tools.
  • Strong understanding of product management principles and governance.
  • Experience in designing and implementing IT processes and facilitating user adoption.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Developer certifications.
  • Familiarity with other CRM platforms.
  • Experience in establishing a citizen developer program.

Additional Information

This position requires a Department of Energy (DOE) Q-level clearance. Candidates selected will undergo a background investigation to determine eligibility for access to classified information.
