As a key member of Amazon's Airport Affairs team, you will play a critical role in leading the development and implementation of airport strategies to support the growth and optimization of Amazon Air's business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Airport Relationships: Foster strong relationships with airport authorities and government agencies to ensure Amazon's strategic priorities are represented and accounted for.
  • Lead Infrastructure Initiatives: Oversee the development and implementation of airport infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
  • Negotiate Airport Agreements: Negotiate and manage airport real estate and operating agreements to ensure optimal terms and conditions.
  • Manage Environmental Reviews: Coordinate with government agencies to manage environmental review processes, such as NEPA and CEQA.
  • Liaise with Internal Departments: Collaborate with internal departments, airports, and air carriers to resolve airport-related operational issues and conflicts.
  • Manage Complex Programs: Oversee the full lifecycle of complex cross-functional programs with significant impact across multiple organizations.
  • Travel and Budget Management: Travel up to 25% of the time domestically and manage budgets for projects.
About the Team

As part of the Airport Affairs team, you will join a diverse group of aviation professionals working together to create value for our customers. With decades of airport development, aviation, and cargo experience, we are critical to the continued growth and optimization of Amazon Air's business.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in negotiations, cost savings, supplier excellence, and risk mitigation.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • 6 years of aviation/airport experience, managing commercial deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree.
  • 10 years of aviation/airport experience, managing commercial, complex negotiation, airport real estate, or network strategy deliverables.
