Job Description

Position Overview

The Rental Coordinator is a key role in our rental department, responsible for coordinating and processing contracts and projects. This position involves trucking coordination within Welch and provides opportunities to develop relationships, learn about the forklift industry, and secure additional rental business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Field and process all rental requests
  • Source and coordinate shipment of equipment
  • Coordinate equipment transactions for used sales, trade-ins, and scrap
  • Process and log internal delivery paperwork
  • Maintain and invoice rental equipment contracts
  • Maintain SM program for rental units
  • Maintain accurate equipment inventory logs
  • Accurately track equipment
  • Provide timely responses to requests
  • Provide administrative and manual support during Annual Physical Inventory
  • Work closely with Rental Manager on Equipment, Transportation, and Service needs

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Material Handling industry preferred with experience in truck models and applications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of Transportation Coordination preferred
  • Skilled in time-management and able to work independently
  • Skilled in both written and oral communications within all levels of an organization, internally and externally
  • Ability to multi-task, plan, and prioritize work, attention to detail
  • Ability to apply sound judgment and reasoning
