Job Title: Director of Engineering - AdTech

Electronic Arts is seeking a highly skilled Director of Engineering to lead our AdTech platform team. As a key member of our Dynamic Experience group, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of our Ads lifecycle management workflows, including supply and demand management, Ads network connection, and marketplace.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with experience in managing engineering teams and leading technical direction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Content Management & Delivery, Messaging, Segmentation, Recommendation, and Experimentation, to streamline the Ads workflow.

You will be responsible for evaluating where and how EA's live service solutions, studio tech stacks, and vendor solutions can work together to achieve both engineering and business goals in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also lead the development of key components of Ads lifecycle, such as ads network connection, ads marketplace, data exchange, funnel analysis, measurement, and reporting.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the Ads industry, including the ads lifecycle, and experience with vendor solutions (DSP, SSP, DMP). They will also have competencies in algorithms, data structures, and software design, as well as experience building distributed systems to serve concurrent requests on a massive scale.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of key components of Ads lifecycle, including ads network connection, ads marketplace, data exchange, funnel analysis, measurement, and reporting.
  • Evaluate where and how EA's live service solutions, studio tech stacks, and vendor solutions can work together to achieve both engineering and business goals in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline the Ads workflow.
  • Manage a team of engineers to develop and maintain the AdTech platform.
  • Collaborate with Game Studios, Experience, and Brand organizations to understand their use cases and drive e2e solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Work with Legal and Privacy teams to ensure compliance directives are strictly followed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/related field or relevant experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years of experience in managing engineering teams.
  • Experience with managing a team of 10+ engineers.
  • Domain knowledge of the Ads industry, including the ads lifecycle.
  • Experience with vendor solutions (DSP, SSP, DMP).
  • Competencies in algorithms, data structures, and software design.
  • Experience building distributed systems to serve concurrent requests on a massive scale.
