Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-starting Business Development Sales Representative to join our team at voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development by assessing current portfolio and new potential opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive them through the sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying, presenting, and proposing.
  • Research and analyze trends across the economy and existing/potential markets to maintain and stay abreast of market knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the team to evaluate and investigate new/existing market trends and support strategic growth and new business opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with decision-makers, building strategic relationships with existing customers and new prospects for product development and business development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and transparent documentation of sales efforts in CRM.
  • Support or lead product launches, including business plans, market pricing, go-to-market strategies, and transitions to fulfillment by internal teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Sales/Marketing from a four-year college or university.
  • Eager to learn and desire to grow in a professional B2B sales career.
  • Self-starting individual with a strong work ethic and ability to develop a mastery of something.
  • Strong communication skills, including presentation skills, and ability to work cross-functionally to achieve company goals.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to take complex problems and communicate at a technical level when needed.
Preferred Experience:
  • Project management tools and new product launch cycles.
  • Metal manufacturing processes or industry.
  • Internship or early career experience in engineering or sales/marketing, or customer service roles.
