We are seeking a Director, Global People Operations, to lead our HR operations team and ensure a world-class employee experience for all SmartBear Software employees.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all HR operational processes efficiently and compliantly, including onboarding, global rewards support & administration, payroll processing (international), leave management, off-boarding, legal & compliance, HR analytics, and system and tool management.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition and Management team to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for new hires.
- Manage employee benefits programs and compensation programs to ensure they are strong components of our total rewards package.
- Partner with Finance partners in overseeing the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all international employees, adhering to local regulations and improving processes as we grow and scale.
- Ensure administration of all types of leave requests (vacation, sick leave, etc.) comply with local laws and generate a positive employee experience.
- Facilitate a smooth off-boarding process for departing employees including exit discussions and providing insights back to the business to continuously improve our employee experience.
- Stay up to date on all employment laws and regulations globally and ensure the company adheres to them, inclusive of, but not limited to, obtaining required documents and signature, document retention, pay equity/transparency, EEO, employee handbook, Immigration and partnering with Facilities on Health & Safety requirements globally.
- Maintain HR data and support data reporting requests and analytics to drive informed decisions and support our DEI and ESG initiatives and related compliance.
- Manage HRIS systems and other tools, ensuring they are optimized, secure, and aligned with company needs.
- Ensure our programmatic People Processes run smoothly such as merit increase process, promotion process, annual compliance processes, M&A, and ensuring such processes are documented in internal sites and communicated to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Operational Excellence: Efficient management of core People & Culture (P&C) processes, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and effectively.
- Recognition Programs & Culture Initiatives: Management of recognition programs and partnering in the driving of other culture initiatives, ensuring that company values are upheld and celebrated.
- Compliance & Policy Management: Ensuring adherence to all policies and regulations and maintaining up-to-date documentation and processes.
- Team Development: Developing and supporting a diverse global team that embodies SmartBear's values.
- Effective Communication: Clear and effective communication of P&C initiatives to all stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding across the organization.
- System and Tool Management: Oversight of the HRIS and other HR tools, ensuring they support business needs.
We are looking for a seasoned HR professional with a proven track record of managing complex processes and ensuring compliance. If you have experience working in a global environment and understanding the nuances of international HR practices, that's a plus.
You should have strong analytical skills and the ability to translate HR data into actionable insights. Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills are a must, as you will be leading a geographically dispersed team.
