Hybrid Clinical Trial Recruitment Specialist Role
About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Trial Recruitment Specialist to join our team at Medix™ in Houston, TX. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining referral lists for participant recruitment, tracking and updating recruitment statuses, and engaging potential trial participants in detailed discussions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain referral lists for participant recruitment using RealTime CTMS.
- Track and update recruitment statuses in RealTime CTMS, MDI, or the site's EMR throughout the referral process.
- Engage potential trial participants in detailed discussions about the clinical study they've been referred to, ensuring adherence to protocol timelines.
- Accurately document and update communication notes in RealTime CTMS, making them accessible to the study coordinator and team.
- Support the development and implementation of strategies to meet recruitment targets.
- Provide ongoing assistance to staff in their daily responsibilities.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Research Director or Referral Supervisor, based on training and experience.
- Prescreen referrals to assess suitability for trials.
- Maintain a strong understanding of research protocols and the informed consent process.
- Develop and implement a screening flow for research referrals to streamline site execution.
- Oversee referral management within the HIVE research app and ensure data entry into CTMS.
Requirements:
- Previous Clinical Research experience - Ideally 1+ Years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
- Experienced in Patient Recruitment and/or Ophthalmology.
- MUST BE BILINGUAL
Additional Details:
Location: Houston, TX
Pay: $52,000-$58,000 Annual Salary (Dependent on background and Years of experience)
Hours: Monday - Friday; Normal Business Hours; Onsite 3 Days a week, Hybrid 2 days a week
