Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Montgomery County Language Minority. The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative support to our clinic processes, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to clinic processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and human resources duties.
- Maintain confidential information and exercise high-level critical thinking and independent judgment.
- Perform general office duties, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
- Assist with new hire training and benefit enrollment, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Collaborate with the Accountant to ensure accurate payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Prepare and maintain medical provider enrollment, credentialing, and re-credentialing for Medicaid and Medicare.
- Assist with annual training, including HIPAA and OSHA, to ensure compliance and staff awareness.
- Handle patient cash and credit card payments, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Collaborate with the Accountant and External biller to ensure successful collections rates on Medicaid and Medicare claims.
- Serve as the main contact person for IT needs, working with the clinic's outsourced IT provider.
- Ensure timely renewal of clinic insurance policies and maintain accurate records.
- Plan and schedule clinic meetings and events, assisting the Executive Director with agenda preparation and follow-up.
- Prepare the clinic's newsletter and update social media platforms to maintain a strong online presence.
- Bachelor's degree in general administration, human resources, or accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Medicaid and Medicare, with a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in healthcare.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with confidential information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, active listening, and service orientation.
