Position Summary:
We are seeking a Full-time Day Program Counselor to provide essential support to individuals with disabilities. In this role, you will act as a Life Coach, guiding clients in achieving their personal aspirations and securing meaningful employment to enhance their independence and social connections.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling to individuals, assisting them in identifying challenges and utilizing available resources effectively.
- Educate clients about mental health and its implications on their overall well-being.
- Encourage self-sufficiency and foster self-esteem among clients.
- Coordinate necessary training and therapeutic interventions to help clients achieve their objectives.
- Support individuals in obtaining gainful employment by developing marketable skills.
- Assist clients in navigating workplace challenges.
- Deliver hands-on vocational training to enhance clients' work capabilities.
- Maintain collaborative relationships with other agencies and institutions, acting as a liaison for clients.
- Document and maintain accurate case records, reports, and perform follow-up tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license is required.
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) with at least two years of experience working with adults facing mental health and intellectual disabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications.
