Overview: The successful applicant will possess experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering, demonstrating a strong capability to lead significant transformation projects. Responsibilities will include executing capital projects, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams, and applying Lean methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute capital projects effectively.
- Implement Lean principles to enhance operational efficiency.
- Drive automation initiatives and process enhancements.
- Oversee the development and optimization of manufacturing automation and advanced processes.
- Ensure design for assembly (DFA) and design for manufacturing (DFM) principles are adhered to throughout all project phases.
- Facilitate process flows from initiation to conclusion, including product launches and ongoing support.
- Address and resolve issues with existing products in collaboration with cross-functional production teams.
- Lead discussions with internal stakeholders and suppliers, benchmarking best practices across various sites.
- Share insights and lessons learned to foster continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions aimed at improving process efficiencies and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Essential Qualifications:
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale change initiatives.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience in executing capital projects.
- Expertise in Lean initiatives and automation.
- Knowledge of DFA/DFM and assembly robustness.
Work Environment: This role is based in an assembly manufacturing setting.
