About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team at WestRock. As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and implementing engineering projects within the constraints of specific objectives and target dates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and plan engineering projects to meet specific objectives and target dates.
  • Provide technical direction to project team members and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Locate, order, and specify hardware and software equipment and spares.
  • Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in heavy industrial or process industries, Pulp & Paper experience preferred.
  • Project management experience, PMP Certification a plus.
  • Drafting and CAD (AutoCAD) training/experience.
  • Personal computer skills.
  • Experience in four or more of the following areas: Power distribution systems, Process instrumentation systems, Process Design, Distributed control systems, Programmable logic controllers, Coordinated drive systems, Variable speed AC and DC drives, Low and medium voltage motor control centers.
