The Supply Chain Inventory Specialist is integral to formulating and executing inventory methodologies across diverse product segments to meet merchandising objectives and financial aspirations. This role involves crafting and implementing comprehensive inventory strategies for both physical locations and online platforms, ensuring optimal stock levels and targeted inventory turnover. Effective collaboration with teams such as merchandising, suppliers, logistics, and distribution is vital for achieving successful results.

Key Responsibilities

- Formulate and sustain inventory strategies at the item/location level for designated product segments
- Manage monthly forecasting processes for product categories
- Collaborate closely with suppliers to synchronize inventory methodologies
- Partner with the replenishment team to implement inventory strategies efficiently and reach desired stock levels
- Supervise the inventory flow, proactively resolve issues, and create action plans for any discrepancies
- Direct inventory and replenishment strategies for assigned product segments, including events, promotions, and seasonal changes, influencing cross-functional teams
- Serve as a subject matter expert in planning and replenishment systems to enhance inventory distribution and quantity for sales and productivity
- Evaluate business performance, extract insights, and develop strategies to enhance sales and inventory efficiency
- Monitor significant changes or challenges and communicate timely updates to support sales and financial goals

Essential Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in demand forecasting, merchandise planning, replenishment, or related fields

Preferred Qualifications

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
- Strong analytical skills
- Self-driven with a solution-oriented approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
