Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated individual who excels in system implementation and organization. Your enthusiasm for collaboration will enhance productivity and reduce costs without compromising operational integrity. Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and manage shipping documentation for both international and domestic shipments.
  • Ensure all shipping paperwork is accurate and maintain electronic records for easy access.
  • Coordinate inbound appointments for carriers, including drayage, LTL, and truckload shipments.
  • Oversee the management of empty containers to minimize additional charges.
  • Monitor vendor portals to guarantee compliance with national retailer standards and reduce chargebacks.
  • Provide shipment estimates for supply chain and sales orders.
  • Track domestic shipments for national retailers and provide timely updates.
  • Maintain container visibility reports for cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Certification in HazMat regulations.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a logistics capacity.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Preferred experience with SAP, Visio, FGV, OW, FedEx systems (Ship Manager, Returns Portal) and DCM.
  • Ability to utilize analytical methods to achieve business objectives.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis.
  • Familiarity with customs operations, data analysis, and statistical methods.
