We're seeking skilled Diesel Mechanics to join our team at Swift Transportation, one of the largest fleets on the road. As a Fleet Diesel Mechanic/Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining our fleet of over 13,000 trucks and 60,000 trailers.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to appropriate specifications (OEM, DOT, Swift, etc.)
- Inspect, analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose and perform minor and/or complex repairs for all equipment
- Complete a quality preventative maintenance inspection and repairs on all company-owned equipment
- Perform tire maintenance to include: repairs, failure analysis, coding, identification
- High School or combination of training and/or experience required
- Demonstrated/proven superior customer service skills
- Ability to use and learn various diagnostic software used on tractor/trailers
- Knowledge of vehicle systems and basic vehicle maintenance preferred
